Jeff Goldblum plays jazz

About a month ago, I found out that Jeff Goldblum plays jazz piano at a restaurant in Los Feliz. I caught the show and was blown away. I've been obsessed with this whole phenomenon since that night, and last night, I saw him again. And I took some photos.

Jeff plays with a band called the Mildred Snitzer Orchestra. They're all really good. And they have some excellent guest singers and performers join them, too. It's so much fun to watch. I can't really describe it, but it's just great. I'm gonna put some more photos on flickr, but here you go.

Silvio's

Silvio's Brazilian in Hermosa Beach is killer. Brazilians know their goddamn way around grilled meats, I tell ya whut.

Tokyo Hibachi

I love Tokyo Hibachi. It's basically an old-school Benihana. The interior is from the 70's or 80's, but it's got a lot of charm and style. The food is great and a hell of a lot cheaper than Aoki's place. Teppan, sushi bar, and regular seating. A must-try in Lakewood.
